As promised, I am now starting a new segment where Battle Spirits fans get a glimpse into the future! Based on the original Japanese Battle Spirits website's section of the same name, "These Cards are AMAZING!!" will display eighteen of the most interesting cards from the upcoming set! Today's series will focus on the seventeenth Japanese booster set: SUPREME HEROES SAGA, Chapter IV ~World of Dancing Blades~ (覇王編第四章「剣舞う世界」 HAOUHEN: Daiyonshou "Tsurugi Mau Sekai"), which will be released 26 May 2012 (this coming Saturday). Bandai has been revealing one new card at a time every weekday leading up to the release date. As of this post, sixteen of the 18 are displayed; I will update my posts with the last two accordingly.

For those who might get lost with the new terminology in the flavor texts, here's a brief summary: basically the entirety of Otherrealm has entered into a feudal-state-like age, and the Spirits have rearranged themselves into nations/factions called "Shields:" Enjun (炎楯= "Flame Shield"), Anjun (闇楯= "Dark Shield"), Fuujun (風楯= "Wind Shield"), Hyoujun (氷楯= "Ice Shield"), Koujun (光楯= "Light Shield"), and Kaijun (海楯= "Sea Shield"), hence the new designation for the age, "SWE (Shield War Era)." The events that take place are told mostly from the perspective of two people—Kei the Supreme Hero, who seeks another character named "Zeyon," and Manaka the Dragon Knight, who forges an alliance with Lord Dragon (remember him from "Battle Spirits: Heroes"?). If there is anyone who prefers the translated English names of the Shield factions over the Japanese, please feel free to let me know.

Summon this Spirit directly to the Field, ignoring Core Cost. If afterwards you have no Burst Cards set on your Field, you may set one card in your hand with Burst Trigger effects in the appropriate area immediately.
During Your Attack Phase (Lv. 2-3): As long as you have a Burst Card set on your Field, whenever one of your Spirits with the "Supreme Hero" or "Great General" Attributes attacks, draw a card from your deck.
Standing in front of the Supreme Heroes of Enjun is the height of foolishness. Even a jellyfish rife with moisture would be burnt to a crisp like charcoal.

The member of the Enjun Imperial Guard who proceeded without instructions was a swordsmaster of both the Enjun and Hyoujun styles. Hyoujun has gotten quite rowdy recently.

There is a Supreme Hero who, with the slightest glance, you can't help but devote yourself to her. Her beauty is simply that enchanting.

If this Spirit Card is in your Trash, you can summon it to the Field when one of your Spirits with the same Core Cost stated above is destroyed.

This strategy was far too risky; one single slip-up and the entire nation of Anjun would be in boiling water. It wouldn't have gone so well were it not for Lancelot, a noble knight whose like is rare in these parts.
