how to play gem-combo decks?! let'S talk!!!
let give beginners like me, so discussion ok:-)
i had now some days with testing 2 decks, and here are its result:
- white-red deck: is very quick, and when needed i can switch all entire strategy to highly defensive spirits.
- purple-red: somehow strange. it is depending very much on my higher cost spirits. i mean it lost 3 of 4 duells against the white red deck, and it is main problem that weak spirits either get destroyed in blocking form, or have not enough power to defeat opponent defense!
but: the strongest moment of all gameplay is when i activate my purple spell MIND CONTROL. if i play it correltcly, i can first level up my own spirits so that they have more than 1 core, THEN play the spell, and by this action i wiped out entire white spirit defense. each white spirit had only 1 core on it haha:-)

this is my OLD purple red deck.
Well in this mixing created a battle style of "Spirits Destructor"
Not much combo but just destroy.
My red cost 3 Spirits has the effect of destroy opponent's spirits with the same bp as itself when it atk.
My Purple cost 3 braves has the ability to draw when it gets summon, and when brave atk, it can destroy 1 opponent's Exhausted spirit.
This deck was consider powerful draw.
with luck, in first turn i can get to play a cost0 purple spirit, a purple cost 3 nexus, and a purple cost 3 brave with starting 4 cores.
Using the advantage of Braves to play the Immortality.
The trickiest card is the cost 7 magic because it can destroy all opponent's Exhausted spirits. i suggest to put this as least as possible.
Purple braves can have 3x3 spirits to brave with.
Bal-gunner can have 5 type of spirits to brave with.
and other one...
make use with the Purple nexus that can return a Non-effect spirit back to hand from trash.

thnx, but well i have only 2 of those cards in my collection, so...
but:
logically my red deck part focuses on destruction too:-) i have some cool dinosaur flying beasts for that, and also some old english foil spell for some mass destruction.
for today i build a complete yellow-topaz deck to try it against the good white-red. i will again play 4 duels, to see the winner % of both decks.

after today test duels, heres my results:
- pure yellow: if hand cards perfectly combo, then very tricky and strong. reducing all opp. spirits to their LV1 no matter how much corss they have:-)
- yellow vs my unchanged purple-red: from 4 duels result at end is 2:2! amazing because the deck is often too slow to stop the small yellow attackers. but in 4th duel and last 2 turns in that duel i had:
the skull knight zo-goin, the hell knight andra, and phantom dragon SHEYRON all on my field and with the gem manipulation, yellow was defeated haha

blue-green VS yellow-only: 3:1 wins for blue-green.
deck destruction from my golems was not even the reason for clear victory results, it was more combo like setting my spirits to highest level, and most funny spirit-combo was:
BATHOPPER + THE KARAKURI DOG SHIBA! insane gem-machine!
