Battle Spirits JPN Supplementary Set 05: "Solar Brave Pack" [COMPLETE!!] Empty Battle Spirits JPN Supplementary Set 05: "Solar Brave Pack" [COMPLETE!!]

Post  Smash Spirit Fri Nov 25, 2011 10:28 pm

The "Solar Brave Pack" (太陽のブレイヴパック Taiyou no Bureivu Pakku) supplementary set, unveiled almost a month right after the "Fusion Dragon of the Sun" deck, features 28 different cards divided among four packs by Gem Color [Released 8 October 2010, 8 Commons/16 Uncommons/4 Rares]. These cards were purposely assembled to be interchangeable (switchable) with the cards featured in the previous Starter Deck, thus further replicating Dan Bashin's rainbow deck from the anime.

Each of the four packs (Amethyst, Emerald, Diamond, and Topaz) has 16 cards: 2 Commons (3 cards each), 4 Uncommons (2 cards each), one Rare, and a bonus Master Rare card: alternate art versions of Sieg-Apollodragon the Solarwyrm after performing Brave Fusion!

By now, you might ask: "Sieg-Apollodragon Braved with creatures of all Gem Colors. What happened to his Ruby and Sapphire editions?" Well, the truth is those two cards—
[SD03-006] Sieg-Apollodragon the Solarwyrm: Ruby Brave Spirit Ver. (+ Balgunner the Cannon Dragon) —Artwork by Kankurou
[SD03-006] Sieg-Apollodragon the Solarwyrm: Sapphire Brave Spirit Ver. (+ Cerbelord the Fang Emperor) —Artwork by Sakichi Funaya
...were already released as part of a promotional campaign (Solar Fusion Campaign Pack).

Battle Spirits JPN Supplementary Set 05: "Solar Brave Pack" [COMPLETE!!] Empty Getting into the Christmas (Battle) Spirit

Post  Smash Spirit Tue Dec 20, 2011 12:37 am

After a grueling four months of research papers and presentations this past semester, Christmas Break has finally arrived!! YOSSHAAA!!! I can finally get up off my lazy bum and start catching up to you guys! Razz

I now have almost a whole month to relax before what could very well become my final semester (one more course to go until graduation... Shocked Eeeek~ Shocked ) Since I only have one course next semester, I have slightly more time on my hands, so from now through then I'll have plenty more time to devote to Battle Spirits. So expect MAJOR UPDATES coming in rapid force real soon! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

One last quick question before "piercing through the heavens:" How would you all recommend me do the various promotional and campaign cards released, and in what form of organization/categories? I was thinking of possibly releasing the cards in separate topics for each kind available (Normal Promos, Promo X-Rares, "EX" numbers, "GX" numbers, etc.) and in sets of ten cards max per post... If any of you have alternate suggestions or opinions, I would very much appreciate it.

In the meantime, enjoy Dan Bashin's complete deck, and brace yourselves for a trip to the stars! Smile
Now Advancing to Next Stage... >>: Battle Spirits becomes "Duel Masters Ver. 2.0"...?!
