The Melodybird Crewc

Hello players,

it might sound strange, but i have question about a very old card, and i just need some clarification about this effect:

"your start step:
you may choose a characteristic. in that case, all song bird spirits you control and all song bird spirit cards in your hand get that characteristic until end of turn."

what does this mean, what gameplay?? thnx^^

characteristic is basically what i call type and some people call attribute. in this case this spirits characteristic is song bird. the term characteristic was used in the english BS cards. so basically what this cards effect does is that you can change all your song birds type in your hand and field to whatever you want. i say make em all star dragon if you have 1 life then use big ang energy and summon every single one you have.

so that is really possible? not that i would fully understand your example, but ok i have some dragons/ or dragon related combo cards?! then my song birds and this effect could change a lot for one turn yes?

yep, if used wisely this spirit could make for some killer combos. if you have a song bird anyway.

Wow, there's a card with interesting potential I never put any thought into. Especially because I made a deck with a lot of song birds. Now this has me wondering what the best song bird is. This was the first one to come to mind: http://working-koala.com/?pid=33410597

let's say i have BS-02, BS-04 and BS-07 collection small, WHAT could i do with this genius little bird combo? please help^^

Bometeus, I can't see the card you posted, is that melodybird crewc?
Also, here is another combo for it,

Its refresh ability works only on dragon emperors and vanity deities, but if you use crewc all your guys will refresh.

I'm quite sure there are other combos using attributes that you can use, but I forgot which cards.....

anyway, there are not so much hyper amazing spirits for this combo, but thnx for discussing with me, it helps me to get more comfortable with the game. i cant wait to have bs-07, one month to wait now...
