Battle Spirits Heroes

Apparently after Brave, there's going to be a new series:
The broadcaster Nagoya TV confirmed on its website that Battle Spirits Heroes, the latest television anime series based on Bandai’s Battle Spirits card game, will premiere in Japan this fall.
The Japanese online retailer Amiami had listed three card game releases that will be tied to a “new anime lead character of Battle Spirits” in mid-September. Battle Spirits: Brave, the third Battle Spirits television anime series, premiered in Japan last September.
The Battle Spirits anime franchise launched with the 50-episode Battle Spirits: Shōnen Toppa Bashin series on September 7, 2008. The Battle Spirits: Shōnen Gekiha Dan follow-up series premiered on September 13, 2009. The anime projects adapt the original trading card game, in which cards represent dragons, demons, birds, insects, and other spirits that the players can control in battles. Bandai imported the game to America in 2009.



What do you think about this?

I don't really like the art much, and the voice cast is just so-so. I have mixed feelings about it, but I'll give it a shot anyway. The other anime have all pleasantly surprised me, so I'm trying my hardest not to judge it too much until I at least watch a few episodes.

well im happy that battle spirits anime goes on but the hero doesnt look to appealing to me. toppa gave me a card game hero feeling and dan was cool and had a fiery passion. but this guy doesnt make we wanna go "OMG A WHOLE NEW SERIES WITH NEW CHARACHTERS AND CARDS" but its just my oppinion and well im not saying that its my last. maybe ill change my mind once ive seen it. sure hope someone subs it though.

I haven't seen any trailer yet. I've been checking some Japanese sites regularly for the latest news, so if I find one, I'll definitely link to it.

judging from first look , (maybe differ when airing)

for the art, i prefer dan's era. and what, only 5, not 6.
it seems the plot will be less heavier than dan dan brave

I did not expect this to happen to be honest. As far as I'm concerned, anything new for Battle Spirits is a major plus in my book! I'm definitely looking forward to this new installment with an open mind and heart! Even though I've yet to finish Battle Spirits: BRAVE (currently on Episode 15)...

Watch it. It gets better as it goes along, and all the raw episodes aired so far are finally up.

Hey, it just crossed my mind that BS might be following the same path yugioh is taking right now. I mean, Yugioh 5Ds (muy personal favorite of the yugiohs) was a really serious anime but the following, Zexal, isn't very serious at all. I haven't seen heroes yet (obviously, because it hasn't been shown yet) but basing from the pic it doesn't seem to be a very serious anime, unlike Brave. However, if given the chance I'll still watch heroes (as I did with Zexal).

yep me too. and zexal turned out to be really awsome so lets hope that it will be the same with heroes.

that was good help the charachters look good the series is looking a bit better in my book now

The characters on the top row are Mika Kisaragi, Akari Hinobori, and Mahiru Hinobori. The first one I think works at a Battle Spirits shop, ans the other two are Hajime's (the main characters) parents.

On the bottom row is Chihiro Kusaka, Kobushi Nigiri, and Tenjiro Tatsumi (?) I'm not sure about the last one, because the text is partially cut off. Chihiro is describes as a "cool bishounen" and a popular card battler. Kobushi it says assembled Tegamaru's (the main rivals) team. The rest is too blurry for me to read. The last character is a friend of Hajime's parents.

The official site finally has a trailer up. Actually, I think it's a preview for the first episode. There was another trailer I saw on TV Asahi yesterday, but I can't find that one online anywhere.

hey, thanks for that! From what is shown, it seems armor is still in fashion....
Also, the sky of the battle field has returned to the blue color from toppa, rather than the pink(?) color of dan and brave.
Overall, it seems patterned after toppa....I'm excited anyway!

Anyone watch the first episode yet? It's only raw, but amazingly, someone put out a torrent of the episode. A weird file format, but still.

I don't have much of an opinion on it yet. The first episode was enjoyable, but doesn't tell much about the plot, or if there will even be one. I loved the fact that Galaxy had a cameo though. I missed him.

Yeah, I've watched it (despite the fact that I cant understand it). The uploader, Battlenetwork 1000, had also raws of the other BS anime.
As for the first ep...it was alright, and this new card mechanic interests me.

Burst does look interesting. The putting cards face down and revealing them later aspect reminds me of Yugioh. I wish Bandai didn't end the game. They always come up with new cards that I want to get but I can't because I'm not paying the crazy prices to import boxes from Japan.

Agreed on the yugioh similarity! We already have union monsters (in the form of braves) now face-downs too! Let's just hope it does not copy too much from yugioh....
