Greetings everyone! By popular request, in this thread I will provide my own translations for all 88 cards featured in the seventh set of the Japanese Battle Spirits card game, "TENSEI (天醒) ~Awakening of the Heavens~" [Released 5 February 2010: 48 Commons/18 Uncommons/12 Rares/6 Master Rares/4 X-Rares]. This set will introduce us to the Bravers, a series of "Soldier (JPN: Brave Hero)" attribute Spirits endowed with celestial weapons, while featuring some very popular creatures, like the X-Rares Meteorwurm the Meteorite Dragon Emperor and Alexander, Emperor of Giants who make a prominent appearance in the second anime series. We will also see the debut of the Assault and Holy Life special abilities.

As I have no clue how many characters we are limited to in a single post, these translations will be divided up into nine separate posts, just to be safe. This post will focus on Ruby Spirits, from Common to Master Rare. ENJOY! Very Happy

For such weak dragons, they have quite the roar. It's much better than running away with your tail curled between your legs. Now if only they could apply some strategy in battle, they can get rid of their shortcomings...

When Summoned (Lv. 1-2): You can destroy any number of opposing Spirits up to a grand total of 6000BP.
When This Spirit Attacks (Lv. 2): RAGE <Special Ruby Ability>
If your opponent has any unexhausted Spirits available, he/she must block this attack.
"When taking down enemies, casualties are unavoidable," you say? I'd certainly like to hear the opinions of the wounded allies needlessly involved in the onslaught..."

*All above entries have been recently edited to further match the short-lived North American version. The special Ruby abilities "Evolution & Rage" are referred to in Japanese as 覚醒 Kakusei ("Awakening") and 激突 Gekitotsu ("Clash").

The forest is in danger, but its surroundings are even more problematic. Having been dislocated from their homes, there are many crowds desperately seeking shelter. People running around all day long can be quite bothersome, but I guess it can't be helped.

Even the Elders make rash decisions at times. They appear to lead the search for the World Tree, but bringing the children with them is absolutely reckless!

When This Spirit Attacks (Lv. 2): When this Spirit deals Direct Damage as a result of battle, all Spirits on your field with the Special Emerald Ability WINDSTORM (1) are refreshed from the exhausted position.
There are some chiefs that hold the Rowdy Vandals in even much more contempt than they do those scary Dragons. I understand where they're coming from... but I really wish they would work together...

*All above entries have recently been edited to further match the short-lived North American version. The special Emerald ability "High Speed" is called "Godspeed" (神速 Shinsoku) in Japanese.

Wow... that's a lot of Blade Beasts, eh? The Diamond Spirits are up next!

The valiant sword, the unbreakbale sword, the imperishable sword... This blade has slaughtered ten million enemies with fluid grace.

My apologies for not being on this site in a while. I was busy with registering for classes (the next fall semester begins in two weeks for me). I managed to squeeze out enough energy to complete the Topaz and Sapphire Spirits as well as the Nexus Cards [Sadly, it took so much time that I almost completely missed this week's "ThunderCats (2011)" episode...].

I can promise you this: if I can get access to the family computer, expect to see a COMPLETE Set 07 by tomorrow!! Very Happy

YATTA~~~!!! MY FIRST COMPLETE SET!! WOOT!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

This truly has been quite the enjoyable experience. It certainly taught me a very valuable lesson in consistency (I think I had to go through at least ten different edits on my posts for this set alone... Razz ). Anywho, Japanese Set 07 is officially done as of today. Enjoy!

My new school year starts the 22nd, so I might not come here quite as often, but nevertheless my passion for Battle Spirits burns bright! I will continue doing translation work here when I can (most likely on weekends) because you all are just a great bunch of guys. Cool

This truly has been quite the enjoyable experience. It certainly taught me a very valuable lesson in consistency (I think I had to go through at least ten different edits on my posts for this set alone... Razz ). Anywho, Japanese Set 07 is officially done as of today. Enjoy!

My new school year starts the 22nd, so I might not come here quite as often, but nevertheless my passion for Battle Spirits burns bright! I will continue doing translation work here when I can (most likely on weekends) because you all are just a great bunch of guys. Cool
